About this product
The Tour Edge HP7 High Performance Driver is a right-handed driver with a 10.5° loft and a graphite shaft in V Flex (senior/soft regular), measuring 43 inches long. This driver is designed for men with moderate swing speeds. The short shaft can promote better control, and the lightweight graphite shaft aids in generating clubhead speed. A budget option for beginners or seniors looking for an easy-to-hit driver.
Our take
I tried the Tour Edge HP7 driver and it's a mixed bag. The V Flex graphite shaft is very soft—good for a senior flex, but for me it felt like a wet noodle. The shorter 43-inch length does help with accuracy but I lost about 10-15 yards compared to my normal driver. The head is forgiving enough to keep it in play. For $20, it's almost disposable. It works as a backup or a starter driver, but it's not going to compete with modern driver technology.
